All: I applied for advance parole on Feb -9 , delivered Feb -11. I filed under new fees structure and hence I am exempt from fees. I clearly mentioned that in the letter. However, till date I have received no receipt. How should I handle this?
Just as a follow up, The receipt notice arrives 30 days after the application; we got our receipt notice approximately 30-35 days after the application was received. Now we are awaiting to see if the Advance Parole is approved. Incidentally fingerprinting was also required and we had been to the ASC center for fingerprinting this past friday. The FP notice came after the AP package was received by USCIS. I believe they are running FP as a normal turn of events when applying for FP for most individuals if not all.

Not sure now, but back in 2007-2008 they did file EB2, I have 2 friends on eb2 waiting to get their GC. one is already left Oracle after 180 days of I-485 filing and another is still working.
Not to scare you just for your info which I heard in rare case if oracle lays off they don't care which stage of your GC process is in.

Why dont you try to file it yourself ?

My 485 got denied Oct14th as my previous employer withdrawn approved 140. I changed employer after 1year of 485 pending. I (Lawyer) filed MTR on NOV 6th. Got mtr granted yesterday.PM me if you need more details
Congratulations that finally everything is again on track. Sorry to hear the trouble you had without any fault of your own. Did you used AC21 by H1 transfer or just used EAD?

We(My wife and I) recently (July 2009) got our FPs done. immediately after that our cases got transferred from TSC to VSC.
PD: Feb 14, 2005.
I thought VSC is not processing any I-485 applications. Is anyone else in the same status ?
Also, I have to apply for EAD and AP.. Do I apply in TSC or VSC ?:confused:

Company B can not apply based on EB1, They have to apply only in EB2 or EB3.
To Join company b you have to use
L1
- not possible.
H1
- October 2009 possibly if you get your visa
- Green card not in EB1
EAD
- Not assure. Depends on Labor, 140 then 485 filing
Last option
- Go to india work with them for a year and comeback in L1 and then apply on EB1 must be faster. Provided you get L1 to come here. I hear now a days they are rejecting L1s left and right.

you could have applied for h1 extension with the old employer and got 3 years extension...
since you changed your job..and you have less than 1 year of time left for yoru 6 years of h1 to expire..i am sorry mate ..looks like you cannot get h1 extension..(as ur new labor PD) shoudl be atleast 1 year old...get my drift..

L1A valid for 7 years so you can continue working with A.
Apply GC from B asap and switch to B as soon as labor(PERM) passes 365 days.

For PERM, first 4-6 month goes in preperation so actual Labor waiting start from the day you apply PERM so you should count this preperation time + 365 days.
You might eligible for premium I140 so you don't have to go through this 365 days waiting to extend H1B.

Fun series.
However, I can't help but feel slightly envious. The ducks approach me too, but as soon as I whip my camera out they dart away (only to return as soon as the camera is safely tucked back into the bag again).
OTOH, I don't bring duck-food with me... :)
On a more serious note: Aren't you afraid of making them a tad too tame? Won't they become easy prey once the wabbit season is over and duck season starts? (Crispy duck tastes extremely good, but I try to avoid eating duck if I can help it -- they're just too cute! :D)
