Turns out I never should have been required to purchase a data plan from Verizon in the first place. Data plans are only mandatory for verizon on phones introduced after 2009. Palm Centro was released in 2008 (and available on ebay for a very reasonable cost). I asked specifically not to have a data plan when I called to activate, and was told I had to purchase one in order to activate the phone. Apparently their reps are not well informed about their company's policy. I discovered this only after reading another consumer forum after 2 years of paying for the data plan. I am pretty irritated at having spent so much money unnecessarily. If you go this route you will likely told you need a data plan to use Palm Centro on Verizon - not so. Ask to speak with a supervisor until you get them to activate without data plan.
This phone works for me because it is so easy to sync my calendar and contacts using missing sync. What I really needed was a mac syncing qwerty PDA with a phone. This fits the bill as it seems few CMDA phones do.

I tried resetting both, but nothing happens.

What size is that, it looks like 15"? Also can you get anything else in there or just the Mac?
This is the 13inch one, but i have also made them for the 15" and 17" macbooks.
Funny thing is that most of my customers use it as a regular briefcase/suitcase, I also made them in custom sizes.
Nicely done.

One of my friends had a used one for awhile. They're actually quite terrible, lol. I think they were released in 1996 in the U.S. and fewer than 50,000 units sold. Only 18 games were released.

My 23" has the pink tint and I have heard a few people say theirs doesn't, but every one I have seen in person (in 3 different stores) has the tint.
Interestingly the new Tiger build has a Colorsync profile that removes the pink tint (clean install).
If your screen is pink, why don't you just calibrate it?

There is a minor difference - the new iMacs have an ambient light sensor which will provide ideal brightness whether you are in a dark or well-lit environment.
If you manually set the brightness, does it return? Perhaps the display was set too bright/dim for the conditions?
From Apple's site: "To conserve power and relieve eyestrain, a built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness on MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac to suit the ambient light of whatever room you�re in."

Since Apple doesn't manufacture, or control the manufacturing of Canon printers,, it's unreasonable to expect Apple to honor their offer of that Canon printer, which Canon does not make anymore, and Canon discontinued,,

I dealt with manufacturers for a number of years,, they normally don't tell you something is discontinued until well after the last production date,,, don't as me why,, but that's my experience,, our retail store has been left high and dry by some manufacturers,, quite often leaving US to fulfil the 'special' as best as we can to keep the customer satisfied.
I would say, if Apple is willing to offer a similar deal on another comparable printer,, that's the most that can be expected of them.. and you should probably take the deal..

How about the airport express it's much cheaper then the extreme and can do almost anything the extreme can and more. The only disadvantage with the express over the extreme is that it can only have ten computer on its network at any given time were as the extreme can handle 50. Linsys makes some pretty good stuff too and they are less expensive but the express just has os many useful features. Plus it sense it so small you can take it with you on trips and make networks wherever you go, I do this all the time its great. :)

The DVI adapter you use is not converting from digital to analog, as DVI can also transmit analog signals and the adapter you use may "look" for the analog part, but it is not there. :cool: I have been working with pc's since win 95, my first one had win 95, it was ok, but I didn't know how to use it, many years later, I have built them, repaired them, junked them, and got headaches over them. I work tech. support for a small ISP in northern Indiana, all the trouble calls I get are with Windows machines, the only time I get to talk to our Mac customers is when there sign up, and even then it is short because I don't have to walk them through the setup, they know how. So I bought an iBook and have never been happier, this thing has great sound for such a small box, 12.1 ", 900 MHz, 640 MB Ram, 60 GB HD, Airport Card, Combo CDRW/DVD Drive, yes it is maxed out, the biggest Apple makes, I wanted somthing small and powerful and I got it, I love this thing, and it is so easy to use straight out of the box!, Thank You Apple!
